In January 2024, we invited artists to make an image on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of art paper with a thread laced in it, with the prompt “connected by a thread.”
The 64+ artists had eight weeks to make any kind of 2D artwork on that art paper, using any subject matter. The only limitations were the vertical format and to keep the thread in the paper. Here is the gallery of fantastic works:
